Composition:
Each uncoated dispersible tablet contains:
Ivermectin I.P. 6 mg
Excipients q.s.
Indications:
- Scabies
- Pediculosis
- Helminthiasis
- Ascariasis (Roundworm)
- Filariasis
- Trichuriasis (Whipworm)
- Enterobiasis (Pinworm)
- Strongyloidiasis
Description:
- Ivermectin has assured high success rate to treat scabies and is a broad spectrum antihelminthic, it is extremely potent and well tolerated
- Ivermectin has activity against some ectoparasites including the adult lice of p.humanus, p.capitis and the mite sarcoptesscabie
- Possibility of relapsing scabies is remote since the drug operates over the whole body and no area is neglected
- Can be used by adults as well as children
Dosage:
- As directed by the physician
- Ivermectin is administered orally
- The tablets should be taken on an empty stomach with water
