Indications:
- Onychomycosis
- Tinea Infections
- Vaginal Candidiasis
- Candidial Balanitis
- Mucosal Candidiasis
- Systemic Candidiasis
- Oropharyngeal Candidiasis
- Prophylactic during Chemotheraphy
Description: - Fluconazole is a highly selective inhibitor of fungal cytochrome P-450 sterol C-14 alpha-demethylation
- Fluconazole is effective in all tinea and candiadial infections
- Nuflucon Tablets eradicates Candida from all sites
- Quicker symptomatic relief by reducing severity of pruritis, erythema, burning and pain
- Attains high and persistent concentration in skin and nail
Dosage Guidelines:
- Vaginal Candidiasis/Candidal Balanitis: 150 mg as a single oral dose. In recurrent cases, 150 mg monthly dose for up to 6 months
- Onychomycosis: 150, 300 or 450 mg once weekly for 3 months for fingernails and 6 months for toenails
- Candida urinary tract infections/Peritonitis: 50-200 mg daily
- Oropharyngeal and Oesophageal Candidiasis: 200 mg on the first day followed by 100 mg once daily
- Tinea Corporis: 150 mg/week up to 4 weeks
- Tinea Pedis: 150 mg/week up to 4 weeks
- Tinea Cruris: 150 mg/week up to 4 week.
- Tinea capitis: 50 mg daily for 2-4 weeks or 150 mg/week for 8 weeks
- Tinea versicolor: 50 mg daily for 2-4 weeks.
- Children: 6-mg/ kg body weight daily for 2-4 weeks or 8-mg/kg body weight/week for 8 weeks
