Cinnarizine, is approved for nausea, vomiting, motion sickness, inner ear disorder as first line pharmacotherapy for management of vertigo.
Cinnarizine shows multi modal mechanism of action.
- Anti-vasoconstrictor activity
- Decrease in blood viscosity
- Calming of excited vestibular labyrinth
Dosage:
Use in adults: In balance disorders, brain blood circulation disorders and migraine prevention: 1 tablet, 3 times a day.
In blood circulation disorders in the arms or legs: 2 to 3 tablets 3 times a day.
In travel sickness: 1 tablet.
Presentation:
10 ml vial with dropper
Dosage:
Use in children and adolescents up to 18 years old: In travel sickness: 13 years and above: 1 tablet.
6 to 12 years ½ tablet.
