Indication:
Otomycosis
Description:
- 1% Clotrimazole in Clotrin Ear Drops is the wide spectrum antifungal solution, which is effective in Otomycosis
- Lignocaine reduces stinging pain in the ear
- Special base has a dehydrating action, which enhances the antifungal action
Dosage instillation:
As directed by physician
Directions for use:
- Advise the patient to lie down with the affected ear up
- Cleanse and dry the ear canal thoroughly using a sterile cotton bud applicator
- Instil 4 drops of Clotrin Ear Drops into the affected ear 3-4 times daily
- In case of infants and children just 3 drops are suggested because of the smaller capacity of the ear canal
- The patient should be asked to remain in the lying position for a period of 5 minutes to facilitate the passage of ear drops into the canal, the gauze or wick may be kept moist by further instillation of Clotrin ear drops when required
- The treatment may be continued for a period of 1-2 weeks after disappearance of the symptoms
